Quest bug

i've defeated captain bones, talked to the alchemist. i had the cell key but i could not interact with the npc ryan or the cell door.
i went back to Link to see if i had to talk to him and i ended finishing the quest/progressing without releasing the prisioner private ryan. can anyone help me?

It seems that you may have found a bug during a Quest. Have you already reported this situation through the Feedback Window in-game? If not, I would recommend you to do it so our team can take a look at it and fix if there is any bug related to this Quest.
